Author Spotlight & Giveaway: Terri Osburn!

*Giveaway at the end of this post!*
During February’s blogaversary, get to know the women who write the romances I fall in love with.  They have all graciously offered to give away books! Here’s a list of fun questions I asked these wonderful ladies and their responses. Some answers were quite interesting and surprising. You’ll see!  Comments and questions are welcome!
Today’s featured author is the awesome, Terri Osburn!

What genres do you write?

Contemporary Romance. Mostly small town but big city is coming later this year.

Coffee or tea lover?

Grew up on tea but always up for a Starbucks white chocolate mocha.

Name one thing on your bucket list.

Tour the UK. I’d even love to live there someday.

Do you have pets?

I have a menagerie. Oldest to youngest is Bumblebee (orange tabby), Caelen (B&W tabby), Macie (Yorkiepoo), Calamity (brown tabby), Rigby (spastic Schnauzer/Maltese mix), and Gypsy (orange tabby.)

When I wake up every morning I… check my phone. (Sad but true.)

Weirdest or unique thing you own.

I have an empty glass water bottle from 2008 that cost me $11 at a San Fran restaurant because the water came from a Scottish spring. To justify the cost, I convinced myself that perhaps, once upon a time, James McAvoy had taken a dip in said spring. (You did ask for weird.)

Do you have any hobbies or particular skills?

Other than writing books, I can’t think of anything. Huh. I really need a hobby.

What do you hope readers will experience or gain when reading your stories?

I want them to find escape. To laugh and cry (or at least sniffle) and close the last page with a smile on their beautiful faces, satisfied that love did in fact conquer all.

As a newly single mother, Carrie Farmer isn’t quite ready to jump back into the dating pool in Ardent Springs—especially since her last marriage was such a disaster. But if anyone could entice her to wade in a bit, it would be her hunky neighbor, Noah Winchester. He’s the perfect man: strong, protective, and smoking hot. But her eyes have deceived her before, and she’s no longer willing to hand over her heart so easily.

After completing several tours in the Middle East, Noah returns to his hometown a very different man. The former soldier’s plan to rest and relax is soon waylaid by the intriguing woman next door and her heart-stealing little girl. Something—or someone—put shadows in Carrie’s lovely eyes, and he’s determined to clear them away. But when hidden demons can no longer be ignored, the couple gets a reminder from an unexpected source that love truly can conquer all.

      1. Hi there. You can read the Ardent Springs books as stand alones, but I will say the heroine of book 4 appears in the three previous installments so you get a little more of her history if you read them first. However, based on the reviews I’ve seen, plenty of readers jumped in at book 4 and had no trouble keeping up. Hope that helps.
