1. What genre(s) do you write?

Romantic suspense

2. Coffee or tea lover?

Coffee! Starbucks Verona K Cup to be exact. 🙂

3. Name one thing on your bucket list.

Is owning a house in Tuscany or on the French Riviera a bucket list item? I’ve lived an abundant life, but that’s the only thing I want and don’t have.

boyz 2015
Taz (Tazmanian Devil; an apt name) on the left, Bo (Bojangles) on the right.

4. Do you have pets?

4 year old Pomeranian litter-mates. I call them: The Boyz.

5. When I wake up every morning I…Make my Verona coffee, sit in my beautiful lanai and write down all the things I’m grateful for in a journal. (And because I usually get up in the middle of the night I’m still there watching the sun rise.)

6. Weirdest or unique thing you own.

When my brother was an attache’ at the US Embassy in Kabul he had this flag flown in our names on Sept 11th, 2013. Mailed it to me out of the blue. I tear up every time I look at it.

7. Do you have any hobbies or particular skills?

I really don’t, but an addiction? I’m known far and wide for my over-the-top Halloween and Christmas decorating. We rent a huge storage unit strictly for my decorations. And as the holidays come around each year, I uh…can’t stop buying… 😦

8. What do you hope readers will experience or gain when reading your stories?

My tagline is: Romantic Suspense That Keeps You Up All Night, and that’s my #1 goal: you not being able to put my novel down and sleep!

    1. Ha, ha!
I have NO idea where these ideas come from. I just think up two people who absolutely don’t belong together and then I invent situations that keep forcing them to work together and get to know each other. Thanks, Candy!!

  1. Hi Sarah…I live in the USA in the Cleveland, OH area and your dogs are adorable! I also love decorating for Christmas. It takes us about 2 weeks between all the lights outside and the trees (4 of them) inside. I collect Christmas ornaments and probably have over 1000 so it takes awhile.

    1. I’d love to see pics, Sue! What’s amazing is how much pleasure I get putting Halloween and Christmas UP and how depressing it is to take everything down and pack it away. Complete juxtaposition of emotions. 🙂
      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. You want to stop me from sleeping?? LOL That’s funny and a great goal. Book sounds intense….
Love your unique thing. We have a flag flown over the capitol on the day our son graduated from Army basic training. And we have a fighter pilot friend. He sent a flag that flew with him on a mission. They are both so very special to us. A reminder of the amazing country we live in and the brave souls that protect us all.
    Have a wonderful Independence Day!

    1. Isn’t it special? And so touching because my brother doesn’t ‘think’ like that- so his gesture and then mailing it from Kabul knocked me over. Thanks for commenting, and Happy 4th to you too!

I sleep 2-3 hours at night now, but manage a nap every afternoon for another hour. Waiting for my energy to hit the skids but it hasn’t. Thanks for commenting!
