    1. For the horse, she came with a “barn” name; it’s Tessa. But then you give them a show name, similar to racehorses. Because I promised my daughter a horse if I ever published a book (I foolishly thought she’d be in college if it ever happened!) we named Tessa after my first book, Game On, My daughter rode Tessa in the jumper arena where they race against the clock. It was always fun to hear the announcer call out “Game On” when the buzzer went off. With Harper, it took a lot longer. My husband and I spent five hours whittling down the list one day while we were driving to a horseshow.

  1. So if you were in a bookstore and picked up some “light reading” what authors are you pulled to? Is there anything that you don’t like to read? Also very important, I understand that you are a tea drinker but what kind of snacks do you enjoy.
