Mia DeAngelis knew it was time to make a change. Wanting to provide a better life for herself and her ten-year-old nephew, Ben, she took a chance and moved to the small town of Compass Cove. Now, the college librarian is adapting to a new job, a new town, and living with her feisty seventy-eight-year-old grandmother. Mia is determined to make it all work, hoping the coastal hamlet gives both her and Ben the sense of community, family and belonging they both want so much.

Adam Miller, a retired NFL quarterback, has come back to Compass Cove to start over after an injury puts an end to his high-octane life. Settling into the small town routine proves to be a challenge, but his job coaching at Jennings College gives him a sense of purpose, while keeping him connected to the game he loves.

There couldn’t be two people more different, yet the minute they meet, friends and family have no doubt they belong together. Now if Mia and Adam can only get out of their own way and embrace a little home town magic, they can find the happy ever after they both crave…

    1. I’ve always been a writer – I wrote my first romance in 7th grade – but as an adult, I was inspired by other authors to craft my own tales. Jude Deveraux, Susan Elizabeth Phillips and Susan Wiggs are my idols.

  1. I agree that we don’t trust ourselves more and sometimes it causes us to miss out on things. Or pursue our passions. Love your puppies. They are really adorable.

  2. You sound like my oldest daughter….she is buying containers and labels for everything. (She’s 24) I come home one day and she is rearranging my pantry!!!! For 22 years I’ve had my pantry a certain way and she wanted to change it all around. I made her put it all back and said when she moves out she can organize her own stuff! LOL

  3. I can be pretty organized, though you would never know it by looking at my house and most assuredly not by looking at my sewing room. But ask me where something is……;-)
I put this book on my library request list a few days ago. I cant remember where, but I saw it somewhere and thought it looked great so I wrote it down. Must be getting some good attention!!
Congratulations on a great cover for your book too!! Not everyone gets them!

    1. My following is mostly made up of people who read digitally since my first published books were e-only. I like the fact that I can grow a readership beyond digital. There are still people who love a physical book. 🙂
