1. What genre(s) do you write?
Steamy contemporary romance, all the way!
2. Coffee or tea lover?
Coffee. Although I limit myself to one cup every morning. More than that and I get jittery. Well, more jittery than I normally am.
3. Name one thing on your bucket list.
Own a pet fox. I am obsessed with foxes. We have a pair in our neighborhood that come back every year to have their babies. Did you know some states allow you to have pet foxes and others don’t? I’ll be retiring to one of the ones that does. Or maybe become an ex-pat . . .
4. Do you have pets?
Two cats, Oreo and Scooter. Oreo is about ten years old, super soft, and super sweet (if a tad on the dumb side). Scooter is our old man at 21.
5. When I wake up every morning I… Hit the snooze button. I am sooooo not a morning person. Just ask my husband.
6. Weirdest or unique thing you own.
My husband is a real pack rat, so we have LOTS of weird stuff, thanks to Ebay. One example: one of the original remote control Jungle Cruise boats from Walt Disney World. They used to have a place in front of the attraction where you could drop in a few coins and drive them around. They got rid of it a few years ago, and my husband bought one of them for a sum of money I don’t want to think about. Thank you, Ebay (she said sarcastically).
7. Do you have any hobbies or particular skills?
I’m a pretty fair singer, and I used to do a ton of amateur theater. I performed all through high school, college, law school and beyond. My last show was five years ago (I played Jack’s mother in Into The Woods). I’m just too busy between my day job and writing. Doesn’t stop me from singing around the house, though. (The photo attached is me singing the hardest song I ever had to sing in a musical, Another Hundred People from Stephen Sondheim’s Company.)
8. What do you hope readers will experience or gain when reading your stories?
I’m not someone who writes a book with a big theme or message in mind. I want my books to be light, fun, escapist. Something that takes you away for a while, makes you smile, gives you the feels in all the best ways.
Meet Regina Kyle
Regina Kyle knew she was destined to be an author when she won a writing contest at age ten with a touching tale about a squirrel and a nut pie. By day, she writes dry legal briefs, representing the state in criminal appeals. At night, she writes steamy romance with heart and humor. Her book Triple Dare was a 2016 Booksellers’ Best award winner.
The Billionaire In Her Bed
Real estate mogul Eli Ward needs to keep a low profile on his new project. He’s expecting a fight from the somewhat eclectic folks currently living there. What he doesn’t expect is for that fight to be led by Brooke Worthington, the woman who rocked his world one unforgettable night. The one woman who doesn’t know who he is, which is a good thing. She just sees him as a regular guy. It’s refreshing.
Graphic designer and part-time bartender Brooke Worthington refuses to follow her family’s plan for her. She’s too busy building her artistic career. She doesn’t have time for relationships, either, especially with the super hot Eli, because she has to save the building she lives in with people she thinks of as her real family from some greedy real estate billionaire.
These two have secrets and chemistry that is nothing short of explosive.
Winner is Kristi!
